Dirt Drinkers

In January of 2021, I launched my very own custom-blend superfood powder called Dragon Dirt. In this section, we’ll showcase some of our beloved “Dirt-Drinkers” in an effort to offer tips and insight for our fantastic new community!


 

Who are you and what do you do?

I’m Andrea Volpp: product specialist for Reward Music, video and photo maker, fellow vegan, avid runner and yogi wannabe. 

What is your go-to DD recipe?

You can pretty much count on it being a serving of dirt mixed in with spinach, a handful of frozen blueberries and raspberries and a banana.

When and how often do you drink the Dirt?

At the very least, I get in a smoothie for breakfast. Though I haven’t shied away from making another one at the end of the day from time to time. I’ve also been known to throw a scoop into some food like oatmeal, along with my other toppings. You know, just to 
really shake things up and make them exciting!

What health benefits have you noticed?

There’s been a noticeable improvement in my endurance and running performance! It really hit me that that was the case when I was running my favorite trail, and one that I pretty much always finished in the same amount of time, but just a couple days into having Dragon Dirt in my life I had already been able to knock several minutes off of that.

What do you/or would you tell someone who is trying Dragon Dirt for the very first time?

Since the powder itself doesn’t have any additives or flavorings, it just ends up tasting like whatever you put along with it. So 
have some fun and experiment with different recipes and fruit and veg combinations. There are endless possibilities! We give so much of ourselves to everyone else each day—your smoothies are just for you. Make it something you love and look forward to (hella cheesy, I know, but true).

Who are you and what do you do?

Craig LeMay - Drummer/Performer/Author/Educator; International traveler - scuba diver/snow skier/globe-trotter; Passionate long distance runner: 21 miles average per week, year-round. Based out of Houston, Texas.

What is your go-to Dragon Dirt recipe?

There are two:

A) My pre-run recipe is 12-ounces of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, large banana, 2 scoops of raw oatmeal, and 1 scoop of Dragon Dirt. (I’m running every other day, every 48-hours… even when on vacation , if possible.)

B) My in-between running day recipe is 8-ounces of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 4-ounces of “pulp" orange juice, large banana, large handful of blueberries, 2 scoops of Dragon Dirt.

When and how often do you drink the Dirt?

My first meal of the day is Dragon Dirt!

What health benefits have you noticed?

After the first 4-5 weeks of consistently using Dragon Dirt, my running stride increased drastically, which trimmed a whole 10 minutes off my 6-mile run pace... from 62 minutes to 52 minutes! I was in shock at those incredible results I had achieved in such a short time, using this nutrient-dense blend on a daily basis. After 3 months of using THE DIRT, I keep trimming away unwanted fatty weight, and replacing that weight with muscle. Persistence has paid off!

What might you tell someone who is trying Dragon Dirt for the very first time?

Who are you and what do you do? 

I am a fellow dragon brother of the "thug boss" (B-Rock) for at least three decades and counting (OMG). Edward “Clint" Allen is on the birth certificate. However, I have been addressed in many ways, most commonly as “Clint," aka renaissance journey man and emancipated child of the universe. Presently stationed in Las Vegas, in a stasis of life path vocational exercise, as a civil litigation practitioner; Chronic academic (finishing third masters degree and law degree); Also working on my next music project creation: "WestOutWest" (WOW)—stay tuned.  Last but not least is the necessary earthly optimization of betterment by expansion of my "dragonization" possibility frontier.

What is your go-to Dragon Dirt recipe? 

My "elder fire” mix: a 50/50 blend consisting of one serving of the Dirt, combined with Multi Collagen protein blend, psyllium husks, and vitamin C powder, blended with pure organic ruby red grapefruit juice OR Suja cold-pressed uber greens. 

When and how often do you drink the Dirt? 

Every day, at least once.

What health benefits have you noticed? 

For me, consistent metabolic drive and confidence knowing in the “Dragonization Optimization" that Bro Rock is "ON IT!"

What might you tell someone who is trying Dragon Dirt for the very first time?

Who are you and what do you do?

Hello, my name is Malcolm Gil. I’m a Los Angeles native, live sound touring engineer, and athlete. I mix Front of House and monitors for a variety of bands, and enjoy pushing my body to the limit. I enjoy long-distance running, cycling, and my new obsession...TENNIS!!

What is your go-to Dragon Dirt recipe?

After much trial and error, I've found my favorite recipe: 12 ounces of oat milk, frozen banana, frozen berries, cacao nibs, almond butter, and, of course, 2 heaping scoops of the DIRT blended in my Ninja blender.

When and how often do you drink the Dirt?

I save the Dirt for my toughest workout days. That ends up being around 2-3 days per week. I use it as a meal replacement for breakfast, or in between long tennis workouts.

What health benefits have you noticed?

I’ve noticed a variety of benefits from my regular use of the Dirt. My endurance during workouts has increased. My recovery times have reduced. Overall my health and mood have been elevated.

What might you tell someone who is trying Dragon Dirt for the very first time?

Play around with the recipe. Considering all the great adaptogens, you will feel the benefits of the Dirt after a few uses. You will spend a ton more buying most of these ingredients ON THEIR OWN! Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Pam Fogarty and I work for Bausch Health as a material handler. I generally work four 10-hour days with an occasional 8-hour overtime day. 

What is your go-to Dragon Dirt recipe?

My favorite way to prepare the dirt is: 1 cup water, 1/2 cup apple juice, 1 banana, 1 cup frozen blueberries, and 2 scoops Dragon Dirt. 

When and how often do you drink the Dirt?

I "drink the dirt” every weekday and at least one day on weekends for breakfast as a meal replacement. 

What health benefits have you noticed?

The health benefits I have noticed go beyond anything I would have thought. I am 60 years old, going through menopause, not athletic anymore (although I do get at least 10,000 steps a day at work alone), and cook almost every day, but not the healthiest meals. But now, I no longer crave sugar. My energy level has increased. I no longer hit the wall at 2:00 in the afternoon. My mind is much clearer and I am remembering things better and reacting quicker. My gut feels so much better, also. Really getting the benefit of all the extra fiber!!!

What might you tell someone who is trying Dragon Dirt for the very first time?

I highly recommend Dragon Dirt. I love how I make it and look forward to it every day.
